Maria is a member of the Moscow Bar Association since 2006 and teaches courses on the legal regulation of digital (financial) assets and digital rights at MGIMO, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Higher School of Economics, Kazan Federal University, and other institutions. Maria is a regular participant and speaker at events organized by Forbes, Gibraltar Government Conference, World Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Summit, Battle of the Quants, Microsoft Accelerator, and others. She has authored articles and comments on current legal issues related to Fintech & Blockchain, as well as on the harmonization of English law with European law.
Maria is multilingual, fluent in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. Her educational background includes graduating with honors from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), and she has studied in Germany (Haus Rissen, the International Law University) and the Netherlands (International Bureau of Fiscal Administration).
