Koninklijke feestmuziek met Russische flair
Imponerend, dat geldt net zo goed voor Händel als voor publiekslieveling Dmitry Sinkovsky. Na zijn sprookjesachtige lezing van Vivaldi’s Jaargetijden in 2018 keert hij met B’Rock terug naar Brugge voor nog twee klassiekers. Händels complete Water Music, die koning George I tijdens een boottocht op de Theems maar liefst drie keer wilde horen, en de Music for the Royal Fireworks. Ondanks hopeloze files op London Bridge, sloeg de première in als een bom, die nog altijd nadreunt.
