La plupart d’entre nous ont même oublié les racines politiques de cette date, et l'associent davantage à la fête du printemps, des fleurs et de la beauté au sens large, à notre plus grande joie.
Je vous invite donc à vivre ce jour en beauté.
Roby Lakatos, ami de La Ronde Musicale, viendra avec son groupe une fois de plus nous enchanter et célébrer l'arrivée de printemps. Il nous offrira un florilège de ses compositions touchant à des styles très différents pour nous faire rêver, ce dont il a le secret et le génie.

Hungarian violinist Roby Lakatos is not only a scorching virtuoso, but a musician of extraordinary stylistic versatility who defies definition. Having been described as everything from gypsy violinist or “devil’s fiddler” to classical virtuoso to jazz improviser to arranger, he is the kind of universal musician so rarely encountered in our time—a player whose strength as an interpreter derives from his abilities as an improviser and composer. Being part of the famous dynasty descending from János Bihari, “King of Gypsy Violinists”, who won the admiration of Beethoven, Haydn and Liszt and was the secret star of the Congress of Vienna, Lakatos has collaborated with Stéphane Grappelli and Michel Legrand, won the admiration of Sir Yehudi Menuhin, and performed with the biggest jazz names like Herbie
Hancock and Quincy Jones on every famous stage including New York’s Carnegie Hall,
London’s Royal Albert Hall, Tokyo’s Santory Hall, and the Sydney Opera House.
Roby Lakatos and his band blend classical music and jazz with the magic of the Hungarian gypsy vitality. They will come to Brussels for a true soirée musicale.
The soirée will open with an aperitif starting from 18h30, the concert will start at 19h00. After the concert you will have the occasion to talk with the artists in an informal setting with food and drinks.
