Alexander Vantournhout Le temps des créations Alexander Vantournhout maakt een voorstelling voor 5 performers tussen dans en circustechnieken, gebaseerd op het werk van de Russische absurdistische schrijver Daniil Charms. Zijn solo Aneckxander en zijn duet Raphaël lieten het publiek met verstomming achter. Alexander Vantournhout is een jonge performer die aan P.A.R.T.S. dans studeerde en aan ESAC (circusschool in Brussel). Red Haired Men is een 90 minuten durende performance, waarin korte tekstfragmenten van Charms verweven zijn met dans en ‘pratiques minoritaires’: circus, contortionisme, poppentheater, magie en buikspreken. De hoofdspelers zullen plots verdwijnen; prothesen maken lichamen tot bizarre en verbluffende nieuwe vormen; rekwisieten en voorwerpen worden gemanipuleerd in een nieuwe, fysiek veeleisende bewegingstaal. There was a red-haired man who had no eyes or ears. He didn’t have hair either, so he was called red-haired theoretically. He couldn't speak, since he didn't have a mouth. He didn’t have a nose either. He didn't even have any arms or legs. He had no stomach and he had no back and he had no spine and he had no innards whatsoever. There was nothing!
