О фильме :
События, показанные в фильме, происходят примерно с начала 1920-х годов до конца 1960-х. Становление и жизнь молодого офицера прибывшего на новое место службы показано в фильме от и до. Дружба, потеря, любовь, боль - то, с чем столкнулся герой на протяжении жизни. Всё это раскрыто и показано. Актёры в конечном итоге смогли передать всю атмосферу того времени и тех событий.
После выхода в прокат фильма "Офицеры" количество поданных заявлений о приеме в военные училища выросло в 20 раз.
Василий Лановой признан лучшим актером по версии опроса журнала «Советский экран» 1971 года.

On February 23, on the occasion of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, we will screen an iconic film, with which more than one generation of Russians have grown up.
This screening was meant to be a new testimony of our love for Vasily Lanovoy, a great actor and a great man of his country.
Unfortunately, this screening will also be a tribute to his memory.
About the film :
The events of the film take place approximately between the early 1920s and the late 1960s. The film follows the life of a young officer ad he arrives at a new posting. Throughout his life, the hero will face loss and pain, but he will also experience love and friendship. All this is depicted in the film. The actors have finally managed to represent the atmosphere of that time and the events that took place.
After the theatrical release of the film “Officers”, the number of applications for admission to military schools has multiplied by 20.
Vasily Lanovoy was named best actor in a 1971 survey made by the newspaper "Советский экран" ("Sovetsky ekran", literally "Soviet screen").
