Sasha Drutskoy Born in London, Russian artist Sasha Drutskoy now lives and works in Brussels. Drutskoy’s painting tells us about the relation to reality through staging that diverts from the perception of space and time. His narrative and figurative painting is imbued with romantism and surrealism. In October 2013, the Antonio Nardone gallery showed “Antichambres” (antechamber), the first exhibition of the artist in Brussels for 3 years. Its peculiarity was to offer its visitors the opportunity to penetrate the fantasy world of the artist’s painting, but also to understand the genesis of his work through a series of preparatory drawings on paper exhibited for the first time.
