Daniel Kramer is the « father » of Russian piano jazz. It is him who - for the first time in the history of the legendary Moscow State Conservatory - opened a class of jazz improvisation there. He is followed by thousands of students, who are devoted to his « Kramer » style.
Daniel Kramer is a People's Artist of Russia (the highest honor attributed in the country) and a member of the Russian Academy of Arts. He is also an Honorary Member of the Sydney Professional Jazz Club. His legendary jazz improvisations are known all around the globe – from Moscow to Munich, from Paris to Melbourne. He is the the artistic director of 15 jazz festivals and founder of the first jazz competition in history in Russia.
