Northwest are an experimental-pop duo based in London, formed by of multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Ignacio Simón and visual artist, composer and singer Mariuca García-Lomas. Their music explores different genres, from contemporary classical music and avant-garde electronica to experimental pop, psychedelia and trip-hop. Their music has been described as innovative and experimental. Their sound has been defined as cinematic and ethereal. Their live shows have been described as hypnotic and mesmerizing. Their performances combine some beautiful, yet inextricable, music with dance improvisation and visual art. Their self-titled debut album has been described as "Hypnotically engaging; travels through the mind like a powerful medicine, but with a slow and sensitive effect". Their upcoming Autumn Tour will bring their show cities such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna and Prague. After a wonderful experience last April at Washboard Art & Jazz Café in Antwerp, Northwest will come back to our artistic haven on September 14th. This will be another great opportunity to enjoy this promising duo’s music in the best possible environment.

Kris Auspecs is a visual artist and designer, works across creative fields of art and design based in Belgium. With a fascination toward the research of human intelligence and society she created the project « fSubgeneration » (Master project, 2014) where she explored in visual language the past, present and made a future projection of subcultural world. This complex project consists of an in-depth study of existed deviations from the mainstream culture and also the visualization of subcultures what could exist a future. Her works are the conceptual, sharp and meaningful. She makes the experiments with a different technics mixing photography ink, paper, and different media.
