We start our new season exploring the vibrant Russian culture with a presentation from our guest of honour, the Director of Development of the World-famous “Golden Hohloma” Factory. The Russian folk art of “hohloma" has its origins way back in the XVII century in Nizhegorodsky region, when these richly decorated works were produced in humble monasteries for the opulence of the Tsar’s Court.
Our new partner Glagoslav Publications (A publishing house specializing in English language translations of Russian classical and contemporary literature: www.glagoslav.com) will also make a short creative presentation.
