Re-conceptualizing opposition politics in Russia' Dr. David White, Lecturer, Department of Political Science and International Studies (POLSIS) Centre for Russian and East European Studies, University of Birmingham Populism and the politics of resentment in Bulgaria’ Blagovesta Cholova, PhD candidate/teaching assistant CEVIPOL, ULB This seminar will be the inauguration event of series of seminars on different topics, organized both at the Cevipol and the Centre for Russian and East European Studies at University of Birmingham aiming at strengthening the collaboration between the two universities and developing common projects for the future. The topic of this seminar is related to the parties and movements in power and in opposition in both Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, presenting three case studies from this region. The presentations will be followed by a general discussion on these cases.
