This seminar will be the inauguration event of series of seminars on different topics, organized both at the Cevipol and the Centre for Russian and East European Studies at University of Birmingham aiming at strengthening the collaboration between the two universities and developing common projects for the future. The topic of this seminar is related to the parties and movements in power and in opposition in both Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, presenting three case studies from this region. The presentations will be followed by a general discussion on these cases.
