In honor of this significant date, Russian Center in Brussels invites you to the Celebration on 8 June: Laying the flowers at Alexander Pushkin monument and Gala Concert "Pushkin and the World" in the Russian Center Gala-Concert "Alexander Pushkin and the World" dedicated to Poet's 220th Anniversary Compressed file The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Brussels and the International Pushkin Foundation in the Kingdom of Belgium invite you to a Gala concert, the name of which conveys the global significance of the work of the great Russian poet. Pushkin's lines will be performed by the children of the literary circle “DanZa Znaika” (led by Irina Alexandrova) and the school “Little Geniuses” in European languages. The musical program of the evening consists of songs for poems by Alexander Sergeevich. The geography of artists is varied. Guest from Russia - Irina Chernova, director of Elena Obraztsova’s Cultural Center from St. Petersburg, Daria Shavrina - Winner of the VII International contest of young vocalists Elena Obraztsova will perform romances to the music of Rimsky-Korsakov and Glinka. Honored Artist of Russia, soprano Larisa Rudakova will perform a romance to the music of S. Rakhmaninov. From France - Andrei Shevchuk - musician, conductor, director of the music festival “The Queen of Spades” - will be performed by a fragment of the opera by P.Tchaikovsky. From Wallonia - Oksana Goncharuk - a graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Liege, singer, vocal and opera singing teacher - will perform a romance to the music of A. Rubinshtein. From Flanders - the ensemble of the Russian song "Joy" (Antwerp, director Elena Borisenko) - the soloist Grigory Grigoriev will perform a romance to the music of B. Sheremetyeva. Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin was fluent in French, for which he had the nickname “Frenchman” in the lyceum. But never went abroad from the Russian Empire.
